YSC Virtual Hangout for Metastatic Co-Survivors

Meets 2nd Sunday of the month at 2PM ET | 1PM CT | 11 AM PT

This is your space to connect with other caregivers and loved ones supporting a younger person living with metastatic breast cancer. Co-survivors include parents, partners, siblings, friends, or chosen family.

Come ready to share, listen, or just be in a room with people who truly understand the journey you’re on.

Each meeting is led by Mindy Brodsky, LCSW/LICSW, who specializes in trauma-informed, strengths-based counseling and group work with a passion for integrative health and healing. Mindy facilitates healing art and writing workshops and support groups for cancer survivors, co-survivors, and those who have lost a loved one. As a former co-survivor herself, Mindy creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where participants can hold it all, while also being held.

The Critical Need for Metastatic Co-Survivor Support

  • Living with metastatic breast cancer involves ongoing treatment, uncertainty, and different life planning.

  • Co-survivors need tools to manage your own emotional wellbeing while providing steady support.

  • Navigate complex feelings about prognosis, treatment decisions, and quality of life discussions.

  • Connect with others who understand the specific challenges of supporting someone with metastatic disease.

  • Learn coping strategies for managing long-term caregiving and emotional sustainability.
