Guided Support: All Survivors & Thrivers Virtual Hangout

First Sunday of every month | Meets on Zoom
5:00 - 6:00 PM PT | 8:00 - 9:00 PM ET
Supported by Peer Lead + LCSW

You shouldn't have to explain yourself just to feel understood.

YSC Virtual Hangouts are monthly, drop-in support sessions designed specifically for young adults impacted by breast cancer where you can show up exactly as you are.

We bring together peer connection and professional support in a way most spaces don't. Sessions are co-facilitated by a trained peer lead and an oncology-informed LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), so you have both lived experience and clinical expertise in the room.

What to Expect

Each session is a live, 60-minute Zoom conversation co-facilitated by a peer lead and a licensed clinical social worker. There's no agenda you have to follow. You can speak, listen, or engage in the chat. Whatever feels right.

Every session includes a brief welcome from the facilitators, then opens into participant-driven conversation. You bring what's on your mind. Others bring theirs. The space holds all of it.

This is not a presentation or a workshop. It's a protected space for honest conversation with people who actually get it.

Who This Is For

Whether you're in active treatment, transitioning out, or living in survivorship or thrivership, this space is for you. You don't need to be in crisis to come, and you don't need to be "doing well" either.

"Other groups were hard for me to relate to. This is so much better when others are in my age group and we can share similar experiences." — A.F.

"YSC has helped me find a community and feel less alone in my experience. Being in a small community without in-person support groups, I've really valued this." — Missy

Meet Your Facilitators

Cindy B (they/them) is 33 years old and lives in New Jersey. When they were 29, they were diagnosed with breast cancer, which completely changed their life. Having gone through so much, Cindy finds meaning in sharing their story to support others. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their nephew and their dog, Leo!
