Shop It Like It’s Hot (for a good cause)

It’s October, and we all know what that means. Pink is everywhere. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month - what we lovingly refer to as BCAM - and our community has a lot of complicated feelings about that.

We know, October can be hard.

So, it’s important that we’re transparent about the partners we choose to work with. We’re proud we only partner with companies who disclose to their consumers exactly where their donation dollars go.

We also look for partners who offer products our community wants. We want you to love the things you’re shopping for while knowing that the companies are giving back a portion of their proceeds to the programs and services that YSC provides. These funds directly help us build more Navigator guidebooks, host more attendees at the YSC Summit and support more Face 2 Face groups across the country. Our partners know breast cancer is a year-round disease, not just something that happens in October.

HANDFUL

Handful’s relationship with YSC started as a personal one. Cary Kim, who works in Survivor Relations at Handful, was affiliated with the Portland YSC chapter for 7 years after her own diagnosis. Handful donates 12.5% of all revenue from the sale of their Battle Cry Pink bras to YSC. BOY MEETS GIRL

As long-time partners, fashion brand Boy Meets Girl works with YSC throughout the year to support young adults affected by breast cancer. This October, they’re donating  10% of the retail price of their new #THRIVER shirt and  F**ck Cancer tank, Over-sized Boyfriend shirt, and Crop Sweatshirt.

IVORY ELLA

Ivory Ella is in it deep with YSC. They ride in Tour de Pink and attend our events as enthusiastic supporters of our community. They also have really sweet shirts that feel like the threads of 1000 clouds. 10% of proceeds from their breast cancer long-sleeve tee and t-shirt benefit YSC this October.

BLOCK MERCH

Block Merch creates products for every attitude. They have a full line of statement breast cancer apparel, no matter what you want to say about it. , Block Merch knows breast cancer is more than just October, they donate 5% of all of their breast cancer-related items throughout the year to YSC

NATURALL CLUB

NaturAll Club is an entirely natural and organic haircare line for women of color to nurture their natural hair textures. In October, this enterprising collective is donating 15% of all products to YSC throughout the entire month.

DESTIRA

Gymnastics fashion brand Destira specializes in functional, fashionable leotards and accessories. For the gymnast in your life, they’re donating 50% of the proceeds of their pink leotard to YSC.

Not Your Mother’s hair care products are the kind of company that support YSC without a lot of fanfare. We’re grateful for their generosity, and we love their products! Support YSC and upgrade your game.

Harley Davidson has been a long-time partner of YSC. Throughout the year, Harley-Davidson Motor Company donates 3% of the manufacturer's suggested retail purchase price from the sale of its Pink Label Collection to support YSC and other organizations.
