2023 TdP Date & Location Are Here!

TDP IS GOING TO AUSTIN!

Tdp East and TdP West will join together in 2023 to celebrate Lisa J. Frank and the entire community in Austin, TX!

SAVE THE DATE!
Oct 6-8, 2023
Renaissance Austin Hotel
9721 Arboretum Blvd, Austin TX 78759

We chose Austin this year hoping a more central location would allow both East and West alumni riders to participate. We’re excited to bring this ride to a new city, especially one as fun as Austin, TX.

NEW SUPER LOW FUNDRAISING MINIMUMS!

We heard you: the fundraising minimums were a barrier to many of you participating. YSC was able to secure corporate donations and reduce the fundraising minimums to super low!

This year, 1-day riders will only have to raise $500 while 2-day riders will only have to raise $750. We hope many of you who have ridden in the past will be able to come back and ride with us again.

With lower fundraising minimums, we’re reinvigorating our incentives program to create opportunities for a little fun competition and great prizes. We still hope you will fundraise for the YSC Mission. Your fundraising efforts fuel YSC’s mission to provide tailored programs, support and education to the young breast cancer community. We want you to know how grateful we are for your contributions.

PLAN YOUR TRAVEL SOON

A big difference this year from past rides is that participants will book and pay for their own hotel rooms. We will be staying at the gorgeous Renaissance in Austin, TX., and YSC has secured a block at the hotel at $209 per night for singles and $219 for doubles. The Renaissance Austin is creating a special link to book your hotel room, and we'll share this as soon as we have it. (Another good reason to save your spot!)

Event registration and kickoff activities will start Friday late afternoon, so arriving Friday before 3 PM is ideal. On Sunday, the finale should be wrapped up by 2 PM, giving people time to travel home. Austin City Limits happens that same weekend, so booking your travel early is important.

RIDE DETAILS

This year’s ride will have the usual Saturday route options of 100 and 62-miles, and Sunday there will be a 45-mile route.  Both days will offer shorter route alternatives. You can ride one day or both! Full route details will be posted a few months before the ride.

BIG CHANGES, SAME AMAZING RIDE

The YSC Tour de Pink Lisa J. Frank Memorial Ride (TDP) has expanded into an even larger event called the YSC Wellness Summit.

The YSC Wellness Summit aims to bring the entire YSC community together - young survivors, thrivers, their co-survivors, and supporters who love the YSC mission - to prioritize their health and well-being together.

This wellness weekend will include cycling, workshops, activities, and gatherings that offer attendees a cycling experience and a holistic approach to wellness. TDP riders will have the option to participate in other activities when not on the road, and non-riders will be encouraged to witness the inspirational moments of riders taking off and crossing the finish line.

WHAT’S NEXT

YSC is finalizing all the details and plans to launch registration the first week of May. We are busy creating the routes we all love to ride. We’re also migrating to a new (and much better!) fundraising platform that will launch with registration. We cannot wait for you all to experience the new TDP as part of the YSC Wellness Summit.

TAKE ACTION NOW

  • Save your spot today to be the first to know registration has launched.
  • Keep a lookout in early May for YSC Wellness Summit registration!
  • Make sure you're subscribed. During TDP season, we send an email about every other week and then more as we get closer. If you’ve participated before and didn’t receive those, you might be unsubscribed from receiving YSC emails. It’s easy to opt back in and control the kinds of emails you get from us. Just head over to our RESUBSCRIBE PAGE.
