Meet Tracy
Tracy Edler Solak (formerly Tracy Leduc) was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2006, and she began her advocacy work in 2008 with a local nonprofit. Solak was an advocate member of the YSC Research Think Tank in 2010, and she served on the original Young Survival Coalition Council of Advisors. She rode in YSC's inaugural Tour de Pink South in 2016, has attended several YSC Summits, and represented YSC at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, posting "On the Scene" videos on presentations and speakers of interest to young breast cancer patients. In addition to her work with YSC, Solak currently serves on the Integration Panel of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) Breast Cancer Research Program, after serving for many years at both the peer review and programmatic review levels. She is a 2010 graduate of NBCC's Project LEAD Institute and a 2017 graduate of NBCC's Advanced Project LEAD. She has been a Project LEAD mentor and has participated as an advocate member of NBCC's Artemis Project for several years. Solak earned her law degree, magna cum laude, and a master's degree in health care compliance, with high honors, both from Stetson University College of Law. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from the College of William & Mary.
