Meet Megan
Megan McCann is the Director of Community Education and is proud to have served YSC’s community for the last decade. She oversees and develops all educational programs and resources for young adults affected by breast cancer and their co-survivors.
Since its inception, Megan has cultivated the annual YSC Summit, which brings together more than 700 young survivors, meta-thrivers and co-survivors for education, connection and support. With her in-depth background in public health and community education, Megan is honored to bring her skills and passion to the position, while continually pushing innovation, diversity and access in all of YSC’s programming.
In her off-hours, Megan enjoys exploring her home of New York City or taking weekend trips with her husband and baby girl. They consider nearby Vermont a second home and enjoy beautiful hikes in the summer and the attempt to become better skiers in the winter.
