Meet Mary
Dr. Lopresti is a medical oncologist specializing in breast and gynecologic cancer at Lifespan Cancer Institute. She is the Program Director of the Young Women with Cancer and Young Fight Strong Program, Associate Program Director of the Brown Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Mary attended the University of Connecticut for her undergraduate studies and attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNE) in Maine. She completed her residency and fellowship at University of Massachusetts UMass Worcester. Dr. Lopresti is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Lopresti participates in breast cancer research and is the Primary Investigator or Co-Investigator at the Lifespan Cancer Institute sites for numerous clinical trials. She has also taken a special interest in caring for the young women aged 45 & under with breast and gynecologic cancer and has developed a Young Fight Strong Women’s Program at the Lifespan Cancer Institute.
