Meet Lynda

Lynda Weeks was an Executive Director of Susan G. Komen’s Kentucky team, an organization with the sole mission “to end breast cancer forever.”

Prior to joining Komen, she served as the President of Community Health Charities of Kentucky. Previously, she was a medical consultant for a pharmaceutical company, with a specialty in neuroscience; working with neurologists and psychiatrists throughout the state of Kentucky. Prior to that, Lynda was a small business owner, trainer and instructor in the health and fitness industry, specific to Jazzercise franchises.

Weeks holds a BS degree from the University of Kentucky. Since graduating from college, her career has focused on the health and wellness industry. After losing her mother, and three aunts to breast cancer, she has been fiercely committed to the fight against breast cancer. Under her visionary leadership, the Kentucky Affiliate has grown from serving fifteen counties in the greater Louisville area, to serving one hundred eleven counties throughout the state.
