Meet Laura
Laura Ingle is presently the Director of Legal at GOAT Group where she acts as deputy general counsel responsible for a broad legal function as it relates to corporate, commercial, product, operations, real estate, marketing, business development, privacy, risk and regulatory matters.
GOAT Group represents the leading platforms for authentic sneakers, apparel and accessories. Operating four distinct brands–GOAT, Flight Club, Grailed and alias–GOAT Group has a global community of over 50M members across 170 countries.
Prior to joining GOAT Group, Laura previously worked in venture, specializing in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles, including corporate governance matters, financings and related M&A transactions.
Laura also previously spent time in-house at BlackRock, Inc., where she gained experience partnering with key business groups across the firm globally, working to achieve shared goals while providing timely, accessible and practical legal advice.
She began her career as an associate at Jones Day, where she had the opportunity to work with companies to examine their business operations, material contracts and capital structure in order to determine their financial health and advise them regarding potential future financial and legal hurdles.
Laura brings to the YSC Board of Directors more than a decade of strategy, governance and legal experience and a deep care for supporting young adults diagnosed with breast cancer. Laura graduated with honors from the University of Michigan and holds a law degree from Columbia Law School.
