Meet Larry
Larry is a husband to breast cancer survivor, Albernel Jones, who was diagnosed with ER (+) and PR (+) breast cancer in 2014. They live in Columbia, SC where they were introduced to YSC in 2014 by Beth Harris, who led the local YSC group Palmetto Pals. Larry couldn’t be more proud of his amazing wife and of the strength she shows in living with breast cancer. They are both dedicated in supporting other young adults diagnosed with breast cancer. Larry is honored to serve on the YSC Council of Advisors. Since his first introduction to YSC, he has enjoyed the support of fellow co-survivors. Larry made it a priority to get other co-survivors together to discuss co-survivor issues and to provide support and education. Larry is a Biochemist and Nuclear Pharmacist.
