Meet Kathryn
Dr. Kathryn Ruddy is a professor of oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. There, she is a breast medical oncologist whose research focuses on the care of young patients and on improvement of quality of life for cancer survivors. She leads the Population Science and Community Interventions Disease Group and co-leads the Prevention, Survivorship, and Care Delivery Program for the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is also the Mayo Clinic site principal investigator for the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium (TBCRC), the medical oncology leader for the Mayo Clinic Breast eTumor Board, and the associate chair of Healthcare Delivery, Supportive Care, and Health Disparities for the Department of Oncology at Mayo Clinic Rochester. She co-chairs the Symptom Intervention Committee for the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, is an associate editor at the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, and serves as the quality of life/supportive care special expert on the Breast Cancer Steering Committee for the National Cancer Institute.
