Meet Briana
Briana Poindexter is the Program Associate for Project IMPACT at Young Survival Coalition. She supports YSC’s mission to expand access to psychosocial support and tailored care for young adults affected by breast cancer, with a focus on communities that have been historically marginalized.
In her role, she supports YSC partnerships, educational and support services, and the collection of patient-informed data that drives equitable solutions for survivors, thrivers, and their loved ones. Her background in public policy, advocacy, and nonprofit work equips her to tackle the systemic barriers that impact access to care.
Before joining YSC, Briana worked on policy research and legislative advocacy, always centering equity and community voice. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring new cities and countries while finding joy in music, food, and shared cultures.
