I should have been celebrating getting married and enjoying time with my 1 1/2 year old son, I received the scariest news of my life.
I went through 12 rounds of chemo, double mastectomy, 6.5 weeks of radiation and reconstruction.
I am cancer free for about 2 years now. I am still taking monthly injections and daily pills. Eventually I will be getting a hysterectomy too. I was put through the ringer but have an excellent support system from family and friends ! Wonderful doctors who saved my life !
