Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM)

The Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM) coordinates and enhances the activities of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). OCCAM is responsible for NCI's research agenda in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), yoga for example, as it relates to cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management.
